If you start with a fresh setup, no hickups from the past could be there. But if you have no problems and don't want new features or something, which is running better for other users, you don't need updates or upgrades. Remember "Never change a running system!"

That's a great suggestion, if I could travel back in time I wouldn't have upgraded.
There was nothing wrong with my phone, but the upgrade was pushed on me from the auto-upgrade service.
How do I go back before this upgrade?

You don't need a time machine but SP Flash Tool only. You can flash any version available here, regardless of your current version.

Eu fleshei o aparelho para fazer root e acabei apagando o IMEI, mas graças a sua indicação, eu recuperei os IMEI do telefone e agora consigo utilizar as operadoras locais do Brasil.
