UMI Rome X - Cannot flash ROM

Something went wrong with my UMI Rome x phone today, there were loads of popups (must have downloaded something rogue) so I shut down and started up the phone and now all I get is green robot flipping as usual at start but the grean robot stays in middle of screen forever. So I tried going in stock recovery and chosing 'wipe data- factory default' and restarted phone. still doing same thing, green robot static in middle.

So then decided to download ROM 1 - UMI Rome X from here: http://www.needrom.com/download/umi-rome-x/ and downloaded Pack-SPMDT-v3.1544.00.00 flash tool - loaded scatter file - chose to scan ports and it found com10+com11 goes red bar, then goes green and says scan sucess at left .. but it stil scans and dont fill out the ports for 2 - 16 they just have NA+NA so im stuck, what am I doing wrong. thanks.

plug the phone in and then reboot
