The mobile data worked perfectly on my UMI Plus E for the first few days that I had the device, but today the data just would not work. I tried rebooting the phone in airplane mode, doing a factor reset, re-inserting the sim card, changing sim card slot, reseting the APN, and fiddling around in MTK Engineering Mode (*#*#3646633#*#*).
I know the sim works because I got another UMI Plus E for a member of my family aswell, and it works with their phone. My carrier is AT&T by the way. Is their anything else I can do? I didn't really know what I was doing in the MTK Engineering Mode, so maybe there is still something to do there. Is there any way to test if the mobile data antena is working?
