You promised to release and maintain multiple firmware on the device, such as: CyanogenMod, MIUI, EMUI, LEWA OS and others, promised to support ROOTJOY original program ... But in reality, none of this does not hold.
I ask on their behalf, on behalf of the entire community - your customers, if you can not perform certain earlier promises, help their customers (fans) - provide as firmware source code and source code of the kernel of the smartphone! Then enthusiasts, people who like this phone will be able to create better firmware for the device.
Ultimately, your attitude to customers is reflected in you also. On the Internet (forums, chat rooms, journals) is distributed information on the company Umi - if not an honest company and not supporting its products and its customers. Those who bought the phone and ran to your indifference, not your desire to maintain the device is very upset and negative opinions about you - it's counter-advertising that harms you.

You are 100% right! UMI team are just a bunch of liars and cheaters. While it's true that the support of some bigger companies is not much better than UMI's, they at least are not making big promises which they don't keep.
