I can ensure you, the SN Writer Tool can work on UMi MAX. It was tested many times. Please read the instructions carefully. When the flashing process started, after the first movement of the red progress bar you might need to disconnect and reconnect your phone to USB. Also check while the flashing is being processed whether you can see an unknown device in Windows' device manager or not. If yes, you have to reinstall the drivers at that certain point.
