I have a Umi Super Euro Edition for about one month. If I am satisfied with this phone I have a major issue related to the USB-Cconnector.  This connection is very random: Sometimes it work, often I getan error ‘Unknown USB device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)” and it refuseto connect or even to recharge the battery.  When it is connected, any hiton the USB cable or on the desk disconnects the phone and this occurs even when doing nothing(minor earthquakes, even though I live in Belgium, where these phenomena arerare?)
I search several forums and I got a lot of definitivesolutions but no one works for me.
I am running Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bits on a Dell LatitudeE7440.  I tried to connect with several cables but the problem remains soI suspect to USB connector itself.
Do you have explanations to this issue?

Common problem is the usb c plug is not going in deep enough I had to modify my cable by extending the metal part of the plug. Simly cut of plastic part

Try installing the 'MTP USB' driver manually in your computer.

Thank you durumi09 for your answer but the problem is not driver related.  As I explained in my post, I have difficulties to connect the phone through its USB cable.  Sometimes I succedd to connect it, sometimes not.  I often succeed by pushing hard on the connector but the connection is lost as soon I release the pressure and it even disconnects when I am far from the desk on which the phoen is.

Thank you for your reply, but unfortunately I can not rely on screenshots Durumu09 because my knowledge of Chinese is very limited if not nonexistent.  Anyway, I tried his solution and the installed drivers looks to be the correct ones.

I believe you don't understand the issue.  If I succeed to get the cable detected by the phone, everything works fine but the problem is that I hardly can get the USB cable detect by the phone.
