UMI super brand new random clicking

[size=14.6667px]I have tried to set up the phone today, I charged it overnight. And I can barely make it through the set up tutorial and it now continues to open the settings folder on its own. There seems to be something wrong with the screen as it keeps tapping in the same place by itself, making it impossible to navigate or type. ?????  [size=14.6667px]help

Let us know if the flash process work. I got the same issue here. But mine is 3 months older.

Have same problem, touch screen firing randomly, a couple of days after OTA update.
Because I cannot turn on USB debugging mode, cannot change OS.  Also debug / factory mode not working, get no-command? error.
Not happy. Any ideas?
I read in a post that disconnecting the battery works?

unable to type on screen so i wont be able to flash. will also void warranty if i did. Brand new phone very disspointed.
