Issue installing the latest update from 20160923

Hi everyone,
     One isssue after another. Now that my wi-fi issue was sorted out, I went ahead with installing the latest update from 23.09.2016 for UMI Super. But the problem is that the update stops and shows 'Error' and the phone then restarts to the previous version (10.08.2016). I tried to take out the SD card (as I had similar issue during the last update as well, and, as suggested by one of the members, removnig the SD card and going ahead with update worked!), but, then I receive a warning saying 'No SD Card or no enough storage space on device' though I have onlyabout 7.2GB used space out of over 24GB of internal space. Interestingly, it does not allow me to go ahead with update (so it's actually not just a warning, which I can override and go ahead with update) but forces me to insert the SD card, after which, I am back to the same situation as before ('Error' while updating). Please provide me with a solution and/or any suggestion - all are welcome.

Hi,

Please erase the cached data in  Settings --> Storage and USB --> Internal storage and try again without SD card or with the SD card formatted as external storage. You also can download the update file here and install it manually or flash the new ROM with SP Flash Tool.
