Iv been trying to flash my super with twrp recovery image but after installing the vcom drivers on windows 10 i cant get it to flash. Everytime i click download and then connect the phone a message pops up in the corner saying usb device not recognised.

Preloader usb vcom android briefly pops up in device manager then disappears again. I went into my phones devs settings and clicked usb debugging.

Why isnt it working?

Hi,
You don't need USB debugging for SP flashing since the Android system is not running. Try to use a different USB cable or another USB port of your computer (not through a USB hub) or alternatively you may try to install a different driver. Some users were successful with this one: Mediatek_Driver_Auto_Installer_1.1352.00.rar

Im using the official cable that came with it, i dont have any other usb type c cables. Iv tried a different usb on my main computer i tried my laptop both windows 10 and i tried a computer at work running 32bit windows 7 and none worked. Both laptop and desktop say unrecognized usb device. I manually installed the vcom drivers in windows 10 unsigned driver mode.
The windows 7 pc at work just connects and reconnects and then the phone starts charging from the usb but isnt seen by sp flash tools and nothing starts.
The above driver installer didnt work either, ill try that on my work pc later tonight.

The drivers are fully sompatible with the 32-bit version of Windows XP and Vista only. If you use a Newer Windows version, it should be a 64-bit one. The stock cable still might have a connection problem. Please try another USB cable and use 64-bit Windows.

Both my desktop and laptop use 64bit windows 10.

Do I have to press and hold any buttons on the phone when connecting via USB to begin the flash process? The XDA forum post mentions this in one paragraph then in another says only to do this for some devices and for others you must not, quite a confusing post that.

No, at UMi Super you don't have to and mustn't press a button. Your issue is most probably caused by the cable.

@bencebacsi

Same problem with flasing the Umi Super...
Please benebacsi need your advice in this case?

Using Ms Window 10 Pro 64 Bits.
Using latest SP Flash Tool v5.1620.
Using latest drivers, win10 64 bits (drivers installed correctly and working fine with my Umi Touch/MTK6753 processor).

Checked all with flashing my Umi Touch...
I have no problems at all, flashing go's fine on the Umi Touch!

No I want flashing my Umi Super, on the same way, on the same computer and on the same USB-port still get error...
The USB device is not recognized!

Also tried other USB-ports, but no result), still give the error message: The USB device is not recognized!
So I can't flash the Umi Super!

Is it maybe the original USB-C cable that caused the problem?
I use the original Umi USB-c cable that came with the phone.
This USB-c cable just working fine when transfering files between PC and Super Umi, charging with this cable also working fine.

I think it is a software problem.
Maybe the drivers and/or the flashing software dosn't support the Umi Super with MTK 6755 processor or the USB-c port.

My umi super is recognize on my server pc (windows home server 2011 64bit) but can not communicate with flash tools.

i try to go to the recovery menu by pressing volume + and power  and i get a android robot with a message : no command.

also the latest fota is worst than with the previous fota.
and i got also the burning effect with grey tones.also battery life is worst with latest fota, with previous fota i can use my phone for 2 days, with latest fota i have to recharge everyday.

Do you technicians test the fota before sending it?

very dessapointed phone, it has to be called UmI BAD and not super.
