Is there an issue with the new July FOTA release for the Umi Super (UMI SUPER V3.01_20160708) ?
Phone downloads the update wirelessly and says it is extracting it. It then starts the update and reboots but after displaying the Umi logo it then gives a dead android logo lying on its back with a red trinagle over it's open chest with a ! on it and the word Error underneath.
Leaving the phone alone for a few minutes and it reboots back into the old Android version.
No problem with an installed SD card if you've formatted it as external storage. If you use it as internal storage, you have to Eject (dismount) it in the Storage & USB settings or remove the card itself from the phone before processing a FOTA update.
That's highly recommended to process a factory data reset after performing the update. Please report any issues only if they're still present after a factory data reset.

reverted back to rom ver 20160616. key issue encountered with 0708:
1. battery drain is significant higher.
2. gps less accurate than before
3. few of my frequent use apps FC, even after dalvik & cache clear no help
4. camera improvement is negligible
