Fingerprint sensor(and touchscreen) broken

Another day with the umi touch, another problem. I simply rebooted my device, then I was asked for PIN instead for fingerprint. I went into settings, the fingerpringt option is gone. I reflashed the rom with SPFT, same problem... My touchscreen is completely going crazy, sometimes it's inaccurate or not responding at all. Any suggestions?

When rebooting it is normal for the first sign in to be pin number not fingerprint. The rest I cannot help with, sorry.

Some other users also reported a such issue with the latest update. I suggest you to go back to version v3.03-20160423 and wait for the next update.

The thing is I used v3.0.3.-20160510 since it came out, and it is definetly hardware related, because I pushed really hard into the home button and it worked again for like 15 min or so, but suddenly it stopped working again, rebooted the device, fingerprint option is again missing in settings. I've opened the phone and reconnected  the home button but it did not help, i think it's just broken.

VIFOCAL offers the bottom PCB and some other spare parts for UMI Touch but not fingerprint sensor module. I suggest you to contact them about this part. Maybe they can get it for you.

There is still no shop out there offering it. Can I order one directly from UMI?
