Edited by jasonx3 at 2016-5-31 03:07 \n\nFor 4 days I'm having the issue of Home button activating it self (something like a soft touch)  and turning the display on and draining the battery quite a bit.
Because of this  Chrome is unusable too. (Menu keeps popping up)

Restarting the phone sometimes makes it go away but comes back after few minutes

I don't have a extra phone to record a video of this when it happens because of the randomness  but it's frequent enough to be noticeable.

Dear jasonx3,

You can record your screen activity with AZ Screen Recorder.
Please check it whether disabling the fingerprint security (deleting your fingerprints or setting a non-secure screen lock method) eliminates your issue or not.

Regards,
Bence

Problem occurred Even after removing finger print security and pattern lock so i flashed the Version Touch v3.03-20160409

so far everything look good.  i will try to update to the latest version and see i can reproduce the problem and report back

however after flashing at the first time setup screen ask me to enter my previous google account information because phone reset. is it normal or i did something wrong when flashing?

After reinstalling the previous version, your phone provided the same device ID to google, that was used with your previous google account. Normally people always use the same account, so such problems cannot occur.

In that case probably the fingerprint sensor activates your screen, not the home button. The bottom PCB should be removed, disassembled and cleaned from any artifacts that might be there.

Not obviously if you don't remove the warranty sticker.

Hi, I have the same issue and the phone is not usable with Chrome browser anymore. it is very frustrating.
Can you explain how is the right way to removed, disassembled and cleaned the home button PCB, please.
Or is there any chance to disable the new "feature" by my self without flashing an older ROM?

Thanks for your support.

Hi,

There's a disassembly video published by UMi.

You also can try to give a specific function to the fingerprint sensor. Please visit the following thread.
