Edited by vadmcse at 2016-5-20 14:23 \n\nHi,

With the 3rd OTA, i had a problem installing.
I had the SD card inserted, so i never received the OTA update and couldn't install it until i removed the SD card.
Since 3rd OTA, i never inserted the card again.
Installed the 4th OTA without issues and now i inserted the card again, but i'm affraid that i will have the same problem with the 5th OTA.

I've read, that many people had problems with 4th OTA update with the SD card inserted.

So the question is: Are you looking for a solution to the BUG with the SD card and updates?

Thanks

Víctor

Dear users,

That's enough to just unmount (eject) the SD card before starting the FOTA update if you use your card as internal storage and you have to do nothing if you use it as portable storage.
The special storage structure that's used when you set your memory card to be used as an internal storage, cannot be accessed in recovery mode, so you always have to unmount your used-as-internal-storage SD card before processing a FOTA update.

Regards,
Bence
