Camera FLASH - white glow interference

Dear All,

I have a problem when taking a picture with flash.

I get this white glow/interference.

Maybe it is the white case which is reflecting a bit of the light of the flash?? I use the genuine UMI touch pearl white case.

Kindly see screenshot.

Hi theartistisblue,

Please, take a photo of the back of your phone in that state when you experience this issue and I will tell you the possible reason. That's clearly visible, something reflects the light of the flash LED to the camera.

Can you experience any difference if you remove the cover? There's nothing there to reflect the light of the flash.

I will try - but if I remove the cover- it won't stick again.
It comes with only a strip of double-sided tape.

I'm thinking maybe there's a bit of reflection caused by the circumference of the perforation of the case.

Yes, if the edge of the cover is too close to the LED (especially because that's a white cover), it can reflect the light of the LED. You can reapply that adhesive multiple times.
