The fingerprint sensor works almost perfectly but maybe not for everyone. However, that's not the quality issue of the hardware. Please, check the following thread and the video link in it.

The touch screen sensitivity will be optimized by a later update, developers are working on it. Until that, I suggest you to remove the factory screen protector and run SGS Touch Screen Booster with the following settings.

I'm afraid that this app (created many API generations ago, in era of SGS I) doesn't really do anything any longer. This statement is supported by 5 multi-touch points working perfectly even after setting their count to 1 in the Screen Booster.

Not all functions work but anyway it sensibly can adjust the sensitivity of the touch screen of UMI Touch. However, you don't need it since a new update was released today, that improves the touch screen. Just download and run the update via Settings --> About phone --> Wireless update.
