cannot fix satellites

After one mounth of exellent working ,actually the phone cannot fix the satellites.
The sats are visible on gps app like gps test but not enough to fix
I update to v3.03 from previous v3.01 without success.
Someone can help me?

Same thing happend to me. I didn't drop the phone, or anything like that. it was fine and then i was not.

Problems appeared without dping any update?. I'm referring if you started having problems with same version that you had workimg fine gps sattelites fixed?

Hello Angel_UMI, my post in this thread was deleted few days ago i think. Problems started with 3.05. More information you can find in SP Flash Tool 3.05 ROM version for UMI ROME here at umidigi.com.

You can find similiar problems at other forums, not only here.

Is this problem gonna be adressed somehow by developer, are they working on fix or are aware that there were similiar problems to mine? Or this is explained as defective phone and 'nothing happend' if you want it fix it, send it back to reseller?

Has anyone found a fix for this as I have the same problem

I bought 2 Umi Rome phones at the same time, the other one works really well getting a fix from lots of satelites within seconds and mine was the same at first but over time it got worse and worse until now it doesn't se a single satelite at all.

I have tried all the fixes I can find via Google deleting files and using the mtk tools and this did work to some extent at first but it continued to get worse over time.

I have had another mtk phone which had similar problems although never as bad as this one, it seems as if the more you use the gps the worse it gets?????
