Strava crashes immediately on UMI Touch

Hello, I just received my UMI Touch.  Every App I installed works fine except for Strava.
When I try to open Strava it crashes immediately. Have tried all the usual fixes (clear data, clear cache in recovery, reinstall, check permission) but it stall crashes immediately.

That might be a compatibility issue of the recent version of Strava. This earlier version runs properly on UMI Touch

You can install it with a file browser on your phone.

I have exactly the same problem, have tried everything I can think of to fix the issue.
It's very frustrating as Strava is an app that I use a lot.

Initially the old version of Strava seemed OK but it's still crashing a lot on the UMI Touch. It happens every time that I want to view details of an uploaded activity.

Dear users,

The new, 4.16.0 version of Strava works properly on UMI Touch. I hope now you believe that, the key to solve this issue was in hand of the developers of Strava. That was not a UMI bug.

Sorry but v 4.16 crashes immediately on my UMI Touch.

I'm having to use v 4.2 in order for it to be stable.

I don't know how they counts the version numbers (I don't use this app anyway) but 4.16.0 is just the recent version that I downloaded from the play store today.

If you can't get the same result, I suggest you to install the latest UMI Touch ROM with SP Flash Tool. Here's the link for that: http://community.umidigi.com/thread-2939-1-1.html

Thanks for your help, I have had this issue listed with strave for weeks but they are "too busy" to look at it.
I installed your version 4.2 and it runs fine for me.

After installing 4.2 I tried upgrading to the latest version, but it still crashes immediately so now I'm just using 4.2

Maybe you might try Runtastic Pro, which is a very similar app. I also use it sometimes when cycling and its current version runs smoothly on UMI touch.

Thanks for the suggestion.  Recording is not a problem because I record my rides on a bike computer and then upload that to Strava.  I am part of a Strava community and I use the Strava app to review my results and other rider reults.
v4.2 is working OK for me for this purpose.
