Many families in Indonesia need to check whether their household is listed in DTKS, the national social welfare database, and most people now do it directly from their phone. On my UMIDIGI phone I start by reading a general explanation of what DTKS is and which programs use it, such as PKH and BPNT, and this guide on dtks kemensos go id dan cek kt explains it in simple language. Then I do the actual check only on the official government website, which ends with .go.id (dtks kemensos go id), and I never type my NIK or KK number on pages that do not end with .go.id or share them in chat groups.

When I cek KTP details, I make sure the name and the 16-digit NIK match my KTP exactly, since one wrong digit is a common reason why data does not appear. I also keep the browser updated, check that the address starts with https, and take a screenshot of the result so I have the date and status if I need to show it at the village office. Since this involves personal information, I use a screen lock and hide notification previews on the lock screen. Has anyone else used their UMIDIGI phone for everyday tasks like this? I would love to hear your tips for staying safe online.
