1. There's not a single mobile phone manufacturer on Earth that supports their users to replace internal parts by their own, especially not SMD devices.
2. Xiaomi is the 4th biggest mobile phone brand of the world, UMI is something not measurable yet. Of course, there are much more traders who sell spare parts for Xiaomi devices. I guess you didn't requested that connector directly from Xiaomi but found it on Aliexpress for example.
So, as a conclusion and advise: If you choose a smaller brand, just don't expect the same level of support like what the leader brands can offer, because that's simply impossible. If you are such a skilled user who is able to replace SMD parts on the PCB of his smartphone, then just be enough creative (as doriano71 was that finally) to find a substitute.
Just one more advise according to my lifetime experiences: Usually I'm more successful at getting support if I don't add insulting words to my request at the beginning.
