The GPS in this mobile, works, but works very bad. When you use the GPS over a car, the GPS losses the signal a lot of time, the GPS positions in other places, etc... It is impossible to use the GPS with this mobile. No help AGPS. I try with GPS status and GPS test to correct this, but nothing go better. I try with Tomtom GO, Here Maps and Google Maps, all goes bad.... extremely bad. Will be some fix in the future? At this time, this mobile is like no GPS.

It seems to be a hardware defection rather than a software issue. The GPS antenna might not properly connected in your phone. I'd look into that phone to check it.

Edited by sonydp at 2016-3-29 18:58 \n\nI think it's not a hardware problem because the GPS "works". But loss the signal or put your position meters away. It's a common fault:

Rome and Rome X are two different models, so we shouldn't mix the results of the two devices. Until now, no other users reported a GPS issue related to Rome X while they run the same software versions on it.
Since I don't have a Rome X in hand to test it, this topic is academic from my side.

3. Delete mtkgps.dat
4. Reboot phone
5. Open Mobileuncle Tools
