Just bought UMI Rome, but the camera application msg error:-

Cant't connect to the camera.Please make sure to close other apps that may use camera or flashlight.
I have try to close and reboot the phone but still same problem occur
Please advice. TQ.

I suggest you to flash the ROM of your phone with SP Flash Tool choosing the 'Firmware Upgrade' option.

If that doesn't help, then your phone should be disassembled to check the connection of the camera to the motherboard. However if you want to keep your warranty valid or can't manage that, you should return your phone to your reseller for a replacement.

This is a software bug, it only happens on other camera apps not stock and it happens if the flash light is not turn on when taking a picture

Well, you just didn't say that you got this error with 3rd party apps, not with the stock camera app.
This issue is known (already discussed in some other threads) and the developers are working on it. We're waiting for the update.
