This is the SP Flash Tool release of the

V1.0_20220525 system software

for UMIDIGI BISON GT2 5G and GT2 Pro 5G

Flash tool operation is recommended to experienced users only. If you are not yet an experienced flash tool user, please carefully read the flash tool tutorial before proceeding, and strictly follow each instruction.

Except if an authorized or responsible expert directly asked you to do that,
never format the flash chip of your device or you instantly lose your warranty!

UMIDIGI BISON GT2 5G and GT2 Pro 5G receive all updates automatically via FOTA method. You need this tool only in case of emergency (if you've bricked your phone), if you want to apply a clean install or if you want to clear all root access and custom recovery to make your phone able to receive FOTA updates again. Moreover, flashing with SPFT is the only option to repair (replace) damaged system software.

Extract the .rar file before use. The scatter file (MT6877_Android_scatter.txt) is inside the extracted folder, together with the other components.

VCOM driver: Windows 10 can automatically install it. Please make sure that your Windows is logged in with administrator rights and your computer has a working internet connection when first time connecting your phone.


Here's an optional solution to start the flashing process on your UMIDIGI BISON GT2 5G or GT2 Pro 5G if the standard method doesn't work.
It's especially useful if your phone is bricked or is stuck in bootloop
1. Connect your phone to USB.
2. Start the flashing process with the Download button in the flasher app.
3. Press and hold the power button of your phone until the flashing process starts (red bar appears at the bottom of the app window), then release it. In this process you have to keep the power button pressed for about 10 seconds.
4. Wait until the flashing process finishes.



Kind request from users:
Please report any kind of new issues you experience after installing this update only if you've already flashed this ROM with SP Flash Tool in Firmware Upgrade mode. In rare cases a FOTA update can cause more or less serious malfunctions but that means only the update process went wrong, not a badly developed ROM. An updated stock ROM, especially related to the basic functions will not cause any new issues but will solve some of the existing ones.

Only report any new problems you encounter after installing this update if you have already flashed this ROM using SP Flash Tool's Firmware Upgrade mode. If this is the case, then please report any new problems you encounter. In very rare circumstances, a FOTA upgrade may cause more or less catastrophic faults, but this indicates that something went wrong during the update process and not with the ROM itself. An upgraded stock ROM, particularly one that relates to the fundamental functions, will not create any new problems but will resolve some of the problems that already present.

I have a bug, when I take a picture with the camera app in the night mode, a square, the miravision logo, will appear in the center of the picture. I took a few and all of them showed the square logo, but a normal picture will not have that.

I have two bugs to report.
#1. Bluetooth does not stream media audio until I went into developers tools and manually disabled A2DP HW Offload.
Turning developers tools off changes back to the default without Bluetooth media streaming.
#2. I also have the logo issue with Night Mode in the camera app like the other person mentioned above.

Sir , I'm using bison GT 2 Pro 5 g mobile, today i downloaded current version of this ROM not Android 11 ,its Android 12 files and SP Flash Tools, and i open SP Flash Tools then i make one mistake,i click for SP Flash Tools format menu option, i select for auto format flash,then click start button, after my mobile fully dead, please help me,it's my side mistake,but now I realised that mistake,i need solution, please sir ,i to I get back my mobile,it's fully dead,not power on ,boot menu not on ,even charging display not comes ,it's totally black, only one red colour top of the light only detected for charging time.
