Those worms you are pointing out are result of very aggressive noise reduction and sharpening. Umi engineers really screw camera software. Playing a bit with EM and disabling noise reduction will improve image quality slightly. I do believe Umi engineers should rebuild camera software from the scratch.

  do the EV calibration and the Flash calibration also.
I DIDN'T FIND  ANY INFORMATION HOW TO DO THIS  AND I DON'T KNOW IF IT IS RIGHT !!!!
I MAKE A LOT OF EXPERIMENTS TO UNDERSTAND HOW IT WORKS.

First  make an EV calibration :
-In normal light (no backlight - no much shadows ) and all color field press the EV calibration.
-After it make a camera preview with an EV calibration button.
-When you target the field and press the button it ask you to place a number for calibration
-You can give specific number to make it.If you give a number for calibration it returns a calibrated number
-The number that return it MUST be as near as possible to 0 (zero)
-!!! If its not you have to give again but calculating so  to be 0 ex.
   you give 10 and it shows -10 , so you make it again but with 20 and it have to give 0 .
The best calibration i think is to give a zero and returns a zero .!!!
IF EV CALIBRATION IS NOT GOOD THE PHOTOS WILL BE VERRY BRIGHT OR VERY DARK SO YOU MUST DO A NEW ONE CALIBRATION!!!

Second Flash calibration
-From the menu you chose the flash calibration and make it ON
-After go at the bottom and press start preview
-Now you go again to the field to take a picture.( I make it in an almost dark field)
-Press the button for a capture.
-You have to keep the phone stable to finish the process .
-The camera makes a very short flash and after that a little bit longer.
-After that it takes a capture with normal flash an if all was good it shows Flash calibration OK
-If its not you have to repeat it (maybe change a little the light on your field will help it)

After these my camera works better BUT i repeat that i don't know if it is the right order to calibrate it !!!

Giannaki, the settings in your pictures are the default settings.

I tried the calibration but the quality is still bad.
The problem is that even when it shows that the picture will have good quality when you press the button to capture it it produces a
blurry image.

Well, I believe I've found one of the problems for the image noise !

UMI advertises the UMI IRON Pro, has having a fast apperture lens of 2.0, what would let in much light into the camera photo sensor, but in truth, the lens they have installed are 2.4 aperture lens! (I've checked)

This let's in much lesser light into the photo sensor, that probably has to compensate the lack of light, in low light situations, light night photos, indoor photos, etc, by upping the ISO value of the photos, what in sensors this small usually makes the photos have much noise, that "grainy"/"pixelized" look to them!

Also, I would like to know from UMI, how we can check in the software what is the camera module really installed? How can we make sure it's that advertised SONY?

Ok, I supposedly found the Camera Sensor specs for this phone and it says IMX214 and OV5670, so here's another incoerence...

UMI says the front camera is 8Mpx and in fact it's a 5Mpx sensor...

At least they got the apperture (F number) correct in the front camera: F2.2...

Hi,

I really do not care about the front camera. 5MP it is still good.
However the main camera should be fixed. You are right that if you decrease the ISO value the photos are better but still the produced image
it is not from a 13MP camera. The camera quality of my lg g2 and g3 devices is 1 million times better than IRON pro
