I followed the instructions on the XDA link and I still got stuck in a boot loop. Then did it by beginning from scratch with stock firmware and somehow it worked!

the same happens to me. WhatsApp closes and I do not receive notifications, even if I deactivate the battery optimization for that app. Umidigi please that problem urgently to solve it.
