If there is a brave soul that installed the latest update, can you tell us how many bugs were introduced so I can judge if it's really necessary to update my Z2 from the 0726 version?
Mainly camera focus is the big problem for the newer version when umi introduced a 'new' camera app.
In the meanwhile we still hope for a real update/fix but it seems umi is only interested in developing and selling new devices and already abandoned this Z2 so we can better buy a different manufacturer next time. Pocophone Xiaomi is excellent and almost zero bugs for only a few $ more.

after update i have problems with camera. Unable to access camera and there is no camera application on phone. Flash light reboot constantly. I saw on needrom.com that a new update is available "Update Official ROM UMIDIGI Version: UMIDIGI_Z2_V1.0_20180622_20181009 - full_g36v63c2k_kw-user 8.1.0 O11019".
When will be available for download from umidigi.com??

The version UMIDIGI_Z2_V 1.0_20181013 is available for Z2 upgrade/special but also compatible with Z2 original and I have installed it . I do not see better camera software because the update works only with new camera hardware. But for example they have correct the navigation buttons and all seems working fine (wifi, Bluetooth, rotation, proximity,...) . Now we could say the software is stable and we could wait for better camera quality.

Today I tried to install latest OTA, but after reboot, Appears an Android Icon and an error message. After that. phone started fine, flashlight working, third party camera app working, stock camera still missing.
Same problem here, upgrading via FOTA (WiFi). Phone notify a firmware update to _20181016-1652,
start download, prepare and then phone reboots. Dead robot and error message, phone restarts with actual firmware, notifying again available firmware update. It's the first time this happens to me, prevoius updates worked fine.
After all this updates on my UMIDIGI Z2 I still have a problem with camera. There is no app button to start a camera. I ve tried several other camera applications and every time the same message " can not connect camera", and also flashlight reboot constantly. Do i need to send a phone back or wait for a new update. Otherwise phone works well. thanks
