Did you check the rating and feedback messages of that app? Almost only 1-star feedback and it seems to be not really compatible with newer than Android 5.1 systems. I suggest you to contact the issuer of the app but maybe better to avoid using it.
Anyway it can run on the S2 Pro (I checked it right now) but if you have some in app issues and you are certain about that, your issue is caused by your phone, not by the app itself, I ask you to tell us some more details about what exactly happens on your side. Error messages, behavior etc.

Thank you for the feedback. Mobile iron is a common email app used across my organization by everyone for their official emails. My IT team downloaded the app and it was working fine, but they informed me that S2 pro has some inbuilt feature which closes the Moileiron app automaticaly. I was able to check my emails for 2 days but afterwards whenever I open the app it just shows app not onstaed and unable to open the emails app.

To give more details. When I click on Email app it show message 'Could not find Secure Apps Manager. Please install or contact your administrator. Then a page comes which says all apps are up to date. Earlier when I clicked on email it use to ask for password and the emails were shown. Now it is not asking for password and just shows the above Page.

Any updates please as everyone in my office is able to check their emails. Even colleagues with Android 6 are able to get the emails from Mobile iron.

Problem is resolved.S2 pro has a feature to close all apps to sve power consumption, hence if not in use it was closing all mobile iron apps running in background. To resolve had to lock all mobile iron apps from background which has resolved the issue and mobleiron is working properly. So no issues with the phone. Thank you.
