Hi there, could someone make a backup of stock recovery in UMI Emax mini and upload it somewhere?
I tried to install TWRP recovery and now my device is stuck at UMI screen, when I boot into recovery.
Thanks in advance.

yeah, there are dozens of us, who have this problem. see thread "bootloop" and thread in ROM-Section. Stock-Recovery won´t help ya.

No, I don't have any bootloops or similiar problems. My device is booting into Lollipop without any problem. The only problem is that I'm not able to use recovery.

My eMax Mini doesn't support 3G bands here in Germany, because there are only USA bands available. So I have to modify some settings in QXDM. But I need root access to enable diagnostic mode for USB. And for this I need a working fastboot mode.

A TWRP installer is available in the ROM section. eMAX mini comes factory rooted. If your phone can boot into Android properly and you enable USB debugging, can't you boot into fastboot mode by the 'adb reboot fastboot' command? eMAX mini supports b1, b3 and b7 FDD-LTE frequencies. They're definitely used in Europe. Unfortunately, the b20 frequency (widely used in Europe) is not available and cannot be activated by hardware limitations.

My device wasn't rooted.
I don't need 4G, because it's quite expensive here in Germany. But I would like to use 3G. When I dial *#*#4636#*#*, there's only USA band available. So my device doesn't connect to 3G mobile network.

Which frequencies are available? Could you attach a screenshot?

It only says "USA bands" without frequencies. This is the only item in the list.

That should be clarified. I don't think that info is correct. You might need to set the apn setting to get a working 3G data connection.
