Replacement charger for US?

I bought the UMI Z about 2 months ago from my son's friend.  It came with the original charger but I think the cord must have been a replacement.  The charger is not compatible in the United States so I bought an adapter, which seemed to work fine.  Bu a couple of days ago, it seemed to be having problems charging.  Our power went out last night and now it's not charging at all.  I'd like to buy a replacement charger and cord that is compatible with the US so I don't have to use an adapter.  Any recommendations from the US users here?

I bought an Anker charger and some Anker cables in German spec as my original charger stopped working a few days after I got the phone. Anker is a US company so it shouldn't be a problem to get a charger from them in the configuration you need.
