Camer Performance

Dear Umi Dev Team I have humble request to you to please optimize or review camera related features and camera result .
Because i think that Umi z cameraper is performing less then many 5Mp phone cameras , after all this is asamsung 13Mp sensor

you may search in this subforum... there are lot of discussions....
In good light conditions it is ok, with low light --> bad..

My camera was not god from the very beginning. Pictures were obviously worse than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 picutures taken with the same camera type (Samsung S5K3L8 sensor).
Pictures were blured on the left edge all the time. There was obvious lack of details as well even on the tripod. Focus was average.
I could argue on that endlessly but at the and of the day UMI representatives or the seller wouldn't accept my arguments until I would send the phone which is not the option.
So I replaced the camera with the used one bought at Aliexpress (18€ camera plus 10€ for the replacement work)
You know what?
Pictures got better. They are now correctly average. No more, no less.
Because of these reasons internet purchase of the phone is not the option for me anymore.
I want to hold the phone in my hand before the purchase.
Looking at the pictures on UMI Z web page you get the false impression that the phone is slimmer than it actually is.
Picture on the screen stretches from edge to edge of the phone which is not true as well.
This is called false advertising and they are repeating this whenever the phone is around 8mm thick.
There are still no dimensions on the UMI Z specification page. Can you imagine that.
There would be no theoretically chance that UMIDIGI enter the European market for the time being.
Consumer protection regulations would be strongly in the favor of consumers, that is us.
But of course, YMMV.

I didn´t had time to properly test the camera with the latest ROM, however photos from UMI Z were always okay-ish. I use Xiaomi Mi4c as my second phone and the Sony sensor in Xiaomi has a better and cripser photos. I didn´t notice any major problems with UMI photos though. I think the sensor in UMI is not used to its full potencial and with some optimizations the quality of the photos produced could be better.
