Big security issue, you can bypass easly the fingerprint sensor.

Well, just found a way to by pass the fingerprint sensor, it's soo easy, that i will make a video later.
Meanwhile i advise every plus user to turn off the fingerprint, and only use pin...

I'm not kidding!!

Hi,

Noticed this back in Jan and posted on here. Got fed up with the phone unlocking in my pocket etc. Umi's response was to clean the sensor and only setup 1finger.

They have not admitted that it is an issue yet, just like the GPS problems!

Well, i fix it, not posting a video how to bypass, but what happenned, is my sensor touch my jeans with the fingerprint sensor, or if i tried with other persons jeans, it would unlock.

What i did was delet that fingerprint, and made another, and tried to unlock with my jeans, but no sucess.

Soo, my advise to all UMI Plus users is, if you use fingerprint sensor to unlock, try to unlocking, touching in the jeans, strech, if it unlock, remove that fingerprint, and make another, and try again, t'ill one doesn't unlock with your jeans patern.

Sounds good but I tried at least 20 resets before I gave up and disabled it.
