UMI Iron app compatability

I have noticed that several popular apps are not compatabile with the UMI Iron in teh Google Play store. These include Paypal, Google+ and GetTaxi.

I am tried upgrading to Rom 1.6 - but this did not help. I tried installing the FlyMe ROM and these apps would install - so does not seem this is hardware problem.

I have tried editing my build.prop file - but nothing seems to help.

Any ideas?? Is this something that will likely be addressed in future versions of the stock ROM? Some of these apps are mission critical for me and I can't use my new phone as my daily device without them. Any suggestions?

Thanks for pointing Great bencebacsi my big mistake in the Spanish copy and paste text and not the English as I intended, I deserve the greatest punishment. Glad to know that there is a great moderator who does not allow the sheep to wander and commit such serious mistakes like mine and announces to let everyone know that he is here to restore order. With the app "market helper" you can change the identification of your IRON to SAMSUNG GALAXY 5 for example.
Maybe it will help

tried market helper for some of the apps I usualy use but they give me error (-9) while installing. So this doesn't work for me. Someone in 'complains' section suggested that we should install separate gapps package and that usually helps but I didn't try this yet.

Gapps Descargar desde aquí: http: //downloadandroidrom.com/file/gapps/5.1/gapps-L-4-21-15.zip. Instalar con la recuperación y el reinicio. Si no vuelve a intentarlo. A mí me ha funcionado bien.

Yes, such incompatibility issues are usually caused by an inappropriate version of Google Play Services. Installing gapps will replace the wrong installation.

Thanks for the info. One question though. I see google play services is installed on my device and is current as of a few days ago. Seems like it is being updated. So ... Why would I need gapps then? Doesn't umi use the proper version? Isn't google play services being updated all the time anyway ? Confused ,,,

GPS has multiple subversions and some UMI firmwares might not contain the appropriate one. I wouldn't speak generally.

OK - so how do I install? Just download the ZIP file, copy to my SD card and then install from recovery??

Can this be addressed in the next rom update?
I also have some apps (dutch) that wont install...
