Gyro not working on Hammer

Hello,
UMI Hammer is advertised to have a Gyro build in, however, I now got my Hammer and there is no working Gyro, all Sensor specific apps tell that there is no Gyro available, consequently Virtual Realitiy apps will not work correctly as they rely on Rotation Vector data which is not available without a Gyro. So, UMI, why are you advertising the Gyro but in fact there is no working Gyro? Is it a software issue that will get fixed ?
I am very curious to see if any response will be given in this thread from UMI side

What App do you use to get gyro readings ? I have latest Kitkat Firmware and no sensor related app showed a working gyro, when I use Google Skymap orientation is not accurateand almost unusable, much worse than in my older phone that has a working gyro. So again, how do you know you have a working gyro ?

Hammer doesn't have Gyro. Either Treen is lying or he doesn't know difference between gyro and accelerometer. Another UMI lie, just like battery.

There is no gyro inside the Hammer, was never advertised neither.

Hi theopairm,

I think some of the resellers have confused a g-sensor with a gyroscope. As far as I'm aware, the hammer does not have a gyroscope sensor installed.

No, that was not the fault of the resellers. I checked the specs of the Hammer before I purchased it back in June, and on UMIs own product side it was clearly stated it had a gyro (not a G-sensor or gravity or anything else that could be confused with a gyro) Now the Hammer specs are removed from the UMI side as it is disconitnued anyway. I also assume that UMI certainly know that they have given wrong specs, but it seems to be their strategy to deny that they have given the wrong specs. Simply unbelievable.
