checked all bands, registered phone on t-mobile network, had them go through phone and still only get 3g. At wits end on what to do. Help appreciated. Thanks Also t-mobile rep says everything looks good in engineer mode so they have no idea either.

Unfortunately your issue is not about your carrier but the LTE bands used in the USA, that are not supported. The supported bands are the followings: LTE FDD 2100(B1)/1800(B3)/2600(B7)/800(B20)
