Same problem like many others. I thought it was a good idea to upgrade to Nougat, because it was an official update via OTA. I couldn `t imagine that umi offers an upgrade wich makes so much trouble - maybe my fault... I learned that i get amateur products, when i pay amateur prices...

So what do i want now?  A downgrade by OTA or a fix for the quickcharge problem. Anyway i want it as fast as possible.

I ordered 2 more Umis (z) but i cancled it 10 minutes ago. I want a working phone and i dont want to wait long.

Just a last question: Why don`t test before publish any update. Only an idea....

They did test. They did release it while also stating the quick charge didn't work. Perhaps they shouldn't had, but this forum was full of posts asking, demanding, yelling for the 7.0 update, so I fully understand why they acted like they did.

Other than the Quick Charge problem many issues have been fixed in this Nougat update
which should be appreciated by everyone. I would highly recommend this update.

Here are some of the new fixes I discovered:

1. Battery percentage now shows up next to battery icon.
2. LED notification works and changes colors as expected.
3. SmartLock feature works as expected.
4. All third party camera apps (WhatsApp, FV-5, Messenger ...) now render a correct and bright image.
5. Improved GPS fix.
6. Improved call quality
7. Improved app Doze handling.
8. Improved notification area.
9. Many other Nougat 7.0 enhancements.

These features arn't exactly praise worthy when we lose quick charge and battery drain is so bad. The terrible camera should've been the focus of any update but instead they rushed the 7.0 update because a minority of their customers were crying about it on the forum. Unproffesional to say the least.

Well - I wouldn't say a minority. More like the same volume of complaints for delaying the release as now with the bugs found in the 7.0 update. I could agree with "unprofessional" as a good development team shouldn't release anything with known bugs in it - It's usually more than enough with the unknown bugs ('cause there's no such thing as bug free code). Then again, UMi is a very small player in the field of Android phone manufacturers, so to me, that's expected.
Since the quick charge is a feature of the chip set, i fear that the quick charge bug has its roots in the SDK from MediaTek - If that's the case, we (and UMi) are in the hands of MediaTek...
