Hi All,

I've just picked up an eMax and so far it seems like a nice unit. I have occasionaly ghost touches as others have mentioned but the biggest problem is the phone will not connect to my vodafone 4G sim plan. In the 'available networks' it lists only EE and 3 4G networks. Vodafone just shows as 2G and 3G.

I phoned vodafone and they reset the data connection and sent me the APN settings. I've set it all up and it will still only connect as 3G?
I checked the specs and Vodafone use the 2600 band which this phone supports, so am at  a bit of a loss as to why it isn't connecting?

Any ideas welcome, thanks!

Vodafone's main 4G freq is 800MHz so in most areas you are out of luck!! Sorry, you may find in certain areas you will pick up the 2600 band but Vodafone/o2 are both mainly 800MHz...

EE & THREE you would be fine as they use the other bands much more..... I am on EE and pick up 4G in most areas on the emax.

Sorry for the bad news.....

Thanks after a bit of googling I did find this out. Annoying but I can live with it. The ghost touchscreen issue is really starting to bug me though!
