change button function

Hi guys

Is there any chance to change left touch button (under the screen) function ?
It would be better if it can work and show multitasking, better than long pushing middle HW button.

Any tips on how to do this? I tried on my UMI plus but the phone hardward buttoms remain as shipped & ignore the app settings.
