Custom Recovery

I have a question about installing a custom recovery.
If I do that my phone can still get OTA updates?

depends..in the past it worked,but after ota root and recovery replaced by stock.
but u can always flash recovery in spft so no problem

I never received OTAs after rooting and TWRPing my Super (so from day 1 ).
But that didn't stop me to update it manually: over time you can find TWRP flashable zip files with the Super OTAs that you just shove into the microSD card, and flash or use sptool to flash the OTA just replacing the "recovery.img" with TWRP right after.

HERE on XDA can be found the latests Marshmallow v3.02_20161121 OTA in TWRP zip format

OTA works with root and TWRP. I have tested with two past updates.

On my end it does not.
I have made the update to v3.02_20161121 manually through TWRP as my phone told me that an old verion was the last one.

I guess there are differences among identical phones, eh.
