UMI Plus E V3.01_20161227 FOTA update launched

Dear UMi Plus E users,

Today we are pushing the first final firmware to UMi Plus E.
Build number is: UMI Plus E.V3.01_20161227
We are testing it on the Plus E phones we have here, and it works well and faster than before.

The updating is automatically start when the phone is in idle state with an active WiFi connection.
After a successful installation, you're all set to enjoy the powerful experience, that the 6GB RAM brings.

Hi I am from Singapore

After the V3.01.20161217 update I been getting hanging at charging and black screen randomly..I am unable to update to V3.01.20161227
As I keep getting "Network connection failed" I can access all other online apps and sites on the phone so its not my wifi issue
Please fix..this is the first time I am getting UMI phone and it is leaving a very bad impression

Yeah thanks for that, but can you tell me if the update to Android 7.0 is going to be made available for the Umi plus E ?. As of yet i can find no sign of it. Thank you in advance

The Android 7.x upgrade will be released in February as expected, so please be patient. This is a very new chipset and a lot of bugs are needed to be fixed.

Thanks for that, i am in no hurry whatsoever and would rather wait until Umi are ready with the bugs etc sorted. I cannot understand the multitude of people ranting on and calling Umi decietful etc. Just be patient. Once again thank you for your reply

i unable to find some of options in mobile compared to other brand mobiles like in finger print sensor is less capture. home button option setting also not availble

since today morning my mobile screen showing android word only.is it updating ? any one know why and what happening ? pls help.
