Hey!
I bought my UMI Super this summer and got in July. I treated it well, never droped it, kept it away from water and charged it with the origianl charger and chord. Then one night, after using the phone for about two months, when I connected the charger the screen did not light up and the red ring disapeared. After that the phone was stone dead, impossible to start or charge. I tried different chargers and ataching it to a PC. Nothing happened. I contacted the seller that was avoiding my questions and was stalling. I didn't give up and finally he admited me to send back the phone. I hade to pay the freight which was quite expensive, around 35 euros. The seller raported that he got the phone and sent it to the factory. From the day the phone broke and to the day I got it back it took 2,5 months. The phone seemed fine and worked fine for two days. I didn't drop it this time either or expose it to water. I used the original charger with the original chord. After the second day, when I connected the charger the same thing happened. The screen did not light up and the red ring faded. The phone was dead again. I've tried yet again to use a different charger and to connect it to my PC. I've tried to hard reset or start in bootloader. Nothing. Clearly there is something wrong with my phone? I contacted the seller and the stalling is started again. All he sais is that the phone was fine when he sent it back. I can promise you that the phone seemed fine when he first sold it to me.... I stated to him that my phone is faulty, it did just last two months without abusal and just died. And died two days again, after I recieved it after repair.
I said that the phone is manufactured wrong somehow and that I demand a refund or a new phone. Obviously the stalling and avoiding is started again. I stated to him that I refuse to pay 35 euros again to send it back and have to wait another 2,5 months for a working phone. Umi seems much about selling their phones, not so much about taking care of their customers. It's going to be very interensting to se if i get any kind of response from this post.
Best wishes
