the microphone of my Touch doesn't work

Hi,
I've a Touch since 3 months: at first everything worked fine, then suddenly the microphone stopped working
it happens with phone calls, but also with the internal recorder and skype
actually, when I try to record something using the main microphone a subtle noise nearly unintelligible is recorded (the same happens with calls: a buzz is heard), while when I use the rear microphone voice is recorded a bit louder, and when I use the earphone's microphone all works like it should
I read on the forum a lot of posts about this blocking issue, some of them suggesting to open the phone and fix a rubber stripe
Unfortunately all of them are related to different phones, and mine has a different structure, so I really don't know how to proceed
may anyone help me?
