charge phone only when its off

Hello,

I have UMI Super for a few days and I like it, but I have trouble with it which is annoying.

1. case
When I switched off Umi Super I can charge phone  with charger and by USB from computer, but if is switched ON I can't charge it and phone is not detected by computer.
I have tried another cable and charge with same results.

2.case
Not always, but charge works also if I plug charger or USB port before restart the phone.

I suppose this is an SW issue not hardware.

Could anybody give me any advice what can I try before I sent it back to seller?

I have this same issue on my umi max, I tried a factory reset and it still has the same problem.
