With the announcement that UMI will at least try to release Nougat on the Super, Max, and Plus phones, come December, does that mean there will be no further Marshmallow updates on these devices? Or can we at least expect one major update on 6.0 before 7.0?

UMI advertised a Super Quality Camera for this phone and so many other promises and you can see until now.... what we got... so no big expectations.
I've sold my UMI SUPER, and bought a X***** (can't say other Brands names on Posts because they will delete the Post).
Tomorrow arrives my new Phone, so after tomorrow going in a different direction.
For me was enough one time promises and advertisement of an extraordinary quality camera and everybody experienced the bad quality of the camera.
After all this time since the release of UMI Super we seen 3 ROM updates, none corrected the camera issue, nor the small issues (don't even go to GPS and 4G...), so for me camera issue is more a hardware issue then software.
To cover all this mess they released after UMI Super two new phones, no updates to SUPER.
Have serious doubts that you'll get any Nougat Christmas present but if it comes hopefully will lets see if is less bug free then the actual ROM.

To you all guys I wish all the luck.
I'll be still around the forums because my daughters phone is a UMI Super (made double mistake of buying two) and got two lessons with UMI: Never buy two equal phones at the same time without any feedback from users and second like first one, not to buy on pre-sales without users feedback.
This post might be deleted but I leave here my thoughts and experience for who as the chance to read them.

and yes, camera on my device is not great, and gps is rubbish a slow speeds

Well, the thing is they have probably already been working on an update to 6.0. I wouldn't want all that effort to go to waste.

If the announcement is to be believed, UMI will offer support for other devices eventually. As to what devices and when is anybody's guess.
