Hello, UMI Super owners.

I have one problem. My camera doesn't focus close objects anymore. So maybe you can help me and tell where is the problem?

Thanks!

I really have no suggestion for you. I just can tell you what I did.  I sold my phone, reactivated my nexus 5 and now I'm happy again.
Never again UMI. Baddest support ever. You just lost one customer.

Hi,

did you try to tap the screen on the desired focus point to help the focusing? If that doesn't help try to gently shake your phone for a while. Maybe that's just a mechanical jam.

Hi,

I have the same problem.
It has nothing do to with close objects. The camera doesn't focus anything. But maybe you are lucky and the object have the right distance.
The first time I had this problem I rebooted into save mode, cleared the camera cache and everything was working again. But that doesn't work anymore.
The camera is just useless at the moment.
At the moment I think it is a software bug because I could resolve it the first time.

If it is no bug than its a hardware problem which would be a warranty issue in my opinion. In that case umi has to repair or replace the affected devices.

So please check if this could be a software problem.

Or maybe we should wait for update? And then everything will be fixed

In case this is a software and not a hardware problem and a developer at umi cares about it.

Bad news. I just flashed the first firmware to my device. No changes. So your chance that this can be fixed with an update is nearly 0.
