Back Camera problem in darkness

Hi UMI Community,

I have a problem with the back camera of my UMI Hammer,
I can take any pictures with the main camera if there is a little bit of darkness. Like in night or in the evening it is impossible.

I put 3 pictures with a difference of brightness to compare the problem :

I don't understand this problem. I haven't it with front camera...

If somebody has the same problem or can help me !

One App that is working pretty well for me is "Open camera". I have tried a few and this is the one that provides the best pics. Give it a try and let me know if it works for you.

Thank you. I tried your application on my mobile. It is a bit better with some settings. But it doesn't resolve my problem.

this is the answer from UMiOfficial: "Well the camera issue is a well known problem with the Hammer. We're trying to fix this with the latest update that's coming."

We have to wait..

Indeed the camera sensor are trying to hard, outside it takes nice pictures but in darkness it doesn't. Have yet to try other software tho but since taking pictures while it's dark never turns out good I don't even bother.

Thank you for the answer. I tried with google app camera and Camera ZOOM FX Premium but it doesn't work. I think it is hardware or software with the camera sensor.

What can I try ? Other rom ? Is there any software to set the camera sensor ?

I use actually the original rom from UMI android 4.4.4.
Lolipop can change anything ?

I tried with  UMI HAMMER 4.4.4 JYUI 0723 rom, but it doesn't change anything....

have you try "camera fv-5" I get better pictures with and they are many setting,but imposible to record video clips (...). about darkness picture it's hardwarve issu, the flashlight is week (well for the price i not so bad ^^)
