Hi,
I have just recieved a new Umi Touch. I have a problem with data connection.
After I inserted the SIM card in the phone, I can not to access mobile data - no internet connection in browser, google play, youtube - nothing works.
Phone indicate 4G connection in top status bar but there is no internet connection.

Internet via WIFI works fine with no problem.

I tried to use other SIM card port several time, I tried to factory reset, I tried to find setting, manualy change Preferred network in Mobile network settings, Preferred network type is 4G (recommended).
I also tried 2 another 100% working SIM cards from other network operator.

I am in area with an excellent mobile signal, no smartphone has a problem with LTE / 4G connection.

Problem persists.

Thanks for any ideas.

Dear Galileo,

You might have two issues but both can be resolved easily.
1. The mobile data connection is disabled at UMI Touch by default. Pull down the notification toolbar two times and tap on the icon of the mobile data connection to activate it.

2. You might need to set the proper APN settings manually. Go to Settings --> More --> Cellular networks --> Access Point Names and choose the default or any other templates in the list. Setup the parameters according to your service provider (the APN address is essential), then tap the 3-dot button on the top right corner and Save.

Regards,
Bence
