Camera Problem Solved

As most of the people say camera is laggy and not so good  ... i do some test
I install camera app from play store and test ... and found with Camera FV-5 pro v3.15.1 you can take picture like professional DSLR lol
Please guy try and let us know.
Check the quality .. mainly the text in that toy

thanks for your contribution but i think that umi must still work about the camera.
as you can see well in the center of the picture you have always (expecially with low light ) an red/pink halo.
that must be solved.

in other case i have taken picture well focused at the center but out focus at the border of the picture.

I tried to do the same and installed OpenCamera, Pixlr, Google camera, but I had all the time the "painting looking" pictures

Time to test !

Hey, I don't have this quality at all since the update (and even before).
But I think it's because of the extrapolation/interpolation of the camera.
Since the update, my pics are blurrier than before.
I hope that it will be imporoved on the next fota and that the design of the app will be updated to look more professional as the Lumia Camera app.

Nice update! Thank you. Unfortunately I can not Purchase Camera FV as Google Play store still crashes when making a purchase on the UMI... And I agree it should be a nice addition for the options it has but the standard camera app should suffice for day to day shots so focus quality should be good! Looking forward to the new rom to see if this is fixed.

You still can buy a paid app using your PC or even with your phone if you delete all fingerprint samples.

With A Better Camera and Google Camera the panaroma mode won't work (application crash). I'm guessing it's due to the system handling of the gyroscope...

I would like to share with you some of pictures taken by my UMI TOUCH. Unfortunatelly I'm really disapointed the quality and the focus speed which is notacceptable for me. I bought the phone to take a pictures to my family while at the momment the camera is able to take a quite good pictures only for completelly still objects. Any even slight move make the picture blurry and not sharpened. The other problem is that for pictures taken agains the windows with light day the camera does not adjust the lightness so pictures look like overexposed. I was able to add only one picture (do not know why..). This is regardless of the place where the picture is taken - inside or outside. In conclusion I believe that UMI is able to fix all those issues in the nearest future case this camera now is almost useless for me.

The camera is indeed not the best, but today there was a FOTA and the camera is definitely more responsive and very quick in startup. The quality is a different issue, not sure they will be able to fix it despite the Sony sensor.
