Hi,

My UMI touch always sets itself back to English (which is the sim card language) after it's turned back on. I have the auto phone ON and OFF timer set for everyday. I set the language to hungarian, and once the phone switches itself back in the morning it goes back to English.

Best regards,

Tibor

Dear,
The Umi Touch will detect your SIM card, if your card made from other country manufacture, it will recommend relative language for you.
Have you updated your phone to the newest ROM version by FOTA?
Please update it following on these steps :
“Setting” -> “About phone” - > “Wireless update” - > “Check for updates” - > Update -> Done

Yes I have the 2016/04/15 SW version. Is there a way to switch off this behaviour?

The sim card is English, and I want to set the phone to Hungarian (and stay on Hungarian...)

There's no way yet. I suffer from the same issue but in a reversed order. I've got a Hungarian sim card installed but I need English language to be set for the forum work. The engineers already know about this issue and will resolve it in a future update.

Ok, I just got the news, the source of this issue is in the Android 6 core, so we can expect from google to resolve it.

Confirmed for me to...

I hope they push the solution fast, it's quite annoying...

Thanks
