my umi rome X keeps switching itself off, even though the battery has plenty of life, sometimes this could be 1 hour, other time it could be nearly 24 hours. any ideas why my Umi Rome X is doing this. been doing this from new, only had phone 2 weeks, not happy with this phone. its obviously got a fault.
I have asked on your facebook page about this and emailed your support, but have had no reply
In order to try to solve this issue and discard that is not a battery issue, you should try to flash v3.02 ROM by flashtool. Here you can see link with instructions
Flashed my phone as you said, and now have the latest rom, but the phone keeps turning off. any ideas why this phone is having problems, its obvious its not the rom.
my phone has a build number of...UMI ROME X V3.02_20160120
Once I have realised it has switched off again, I can switch it on without charging and its fine, for a few hours, maybe 1 hour or maybe upto 12 hours, today it has gone off twice. when i Realised it had gone off for the second time today, I switched it back on and had 49% battery life remaining, wothout using the charger.
I do not need to charge it for it to come back on, as the battery still has life in it.
. how many times can someone accidently press the power button, even if i did accidently press the power button, it would want confirming on the screen to shut down or reboot, or am i accidently pressing that as well. this phone has a fault. half the time the phone is just sitting on my desk when it does this. and it does it at least 2 to 3 times a day, sometimes it can do it more. the phone os faulty.
