Hi Everyone
So I have my UMi Iron pro for about 3 months now and on a scale of 1-10. 1=bad 10=good I would give this phone a 5
Apart from the bugs that everyone knows about now:
  • Rubber piece over the MIC... people cant hear you talk during calls.
  • Terrible camera performance (the specs are lies).
  • Speaker's are terrible (loudspeaker calls/media playback is a joke).
  • Clicking/popping noise on headphones when screen is touched.
  • Offical ROMS are not great missing important stuff.
UMI won't fix this as they are too busy trying to con money out of new customers with shiny new products

I now have another problem Battery drain...
My Battery was fine for the first 2.5 months now a 100% charge will not even last 24hours and this is one of the selling points of the UMI iron pro.
I personally believe that the Battery may be ok and that it is the phone itself draining power by constantly keeping it awake or something like that, as it was ok for the first 2.5 months.....has anyone else had this issue or solution to the problem????

USB Type C is working correctly in IRON Pro. Your problem is not a general problem in all users.

Which ROM version do you have installed?. Did you change any configuration or did you install any other ROM?

About battery, Did you check if you have any app running in background which is draining battery?

Please go to settings and access to battery settings. Here you can see which is the service which more battery is using. Which are services which more battery are using?

Apps seem fine it is the phone idle which uses the most battery 70% and I do not know what this is.....I have set my screen brightness to nearly nothing, I have set phone to sleep after 30 seconds I have turned off Mobile data so apps will only update over wifi but still battery drain. It does not even get a chance to turn on battery saver mode. It goes to about 30% then power off. I am using 3.01 umi rom

I suggest to you to update your Iron Pro to v3.02. You can try to update by Rootjoy (easy way) and check if problems continue happening

Did you went back by rootjoy or by flashtool?

Could you try to flash v3.02 by flashtool in order to check if this problem can be solved?

Ok if you have any problem no doubt in asking here.

I'm testing an Iron Pro just flashed v3.02 by flashtool and working during the day using whatsapp, emails, reading newspaper and listening online music, from this morning at 7am that I disconnected from charger, remains 42% of battery
