USB connection to PC

My Iron Pro won't connect to PC. When i plug the cable it's just charging and i can not enter to phone. Any solution? Is it problem with bad original cable?

I'm doing tests with an UMI Iron Pro just flashed in v3.02 by flashtool, and without touching anything else (USB debugging OFF), device connect perfectly with computer and files can be transfered correctly.

Please, try to flash v3.02 by flashtool in order to check if phone can be connected with computer without problems

I have the same issue, and I tested with other cable and other computer. I'm installing a older official ROM to test

Please, check whether your phone is connected as 'Charging only' and change the setting through the drop-down toolbar menu if needed.

I don't get a drop-down toolbar, also my loudspeaker and mic is not working. Already installed the 3 ROMs provided by rootjoy. I needed to install them by a sd card because of my connection issue.

Hello. Please help me Iron pro connect to PC. Windows can't identify him. Usb debugging is enabled. No pop-up menu on the screen of my phone. On different PC and with different cables is not possible. Happens to charge only. Thank you.

\n\nI thought my Umi Iron Pro, was defective and would arrange for the sale of store to trigger the guarantee ... after all by what I read here is not wrong ... it anyway.
The USB / TYPE-C jack only serves to charge the phone.
What a bad purchase ... not meant to do NOTHING ... I do not understand so that they bothered to do RootJoy.
DISILLUSION ... anyone know how to mend this thing ??

Mine won't connect to PC either, only charges with the supplied cable. Wondering whether to invest in a cable sold for data and charging, meanwhile using transfer via onedrive.

Have you tried turning the cable around? I've noticed that some cheaper cables can charge on both cable orientation, but data transfer works only in one orientation. True that's with one cheap cable I got from ebay, original cable and one higher end cable work for data and charging on both "sides", but maybe your cable is on a different stock and data lines are connected on only one side.

Users with problems connecting device to computer. If you tried to flash v3.02 by flashtool and after flash, without changing anything problem continue happening, probably your usb cable is defective. There are a lot of users who don't have this problem. I was doing tests and all is working fine and transfers works perfectly. You should try to change cable buying a type-c usb cable
